No Closed Captioning in Kodi, despite cc in Android, which needs work, too. Another major problem, keep getting 'not connected to network' on my Note 8. But, I AM connected. My Galaxy Tab4 does connect and husband's 8+. Firmware and app are updated.
I guess the app is, okay. But, for some reason on the Nvidia Shield TV it constantly drops audio, loses the signal, freezes the picture, gets out of sync etc. I have yet to watch even an entire 30 minute sitcom on it without having at least one of these issues. However, I can disconnect my Shield TV, connect my Windows 10 PC to the same ethernet and HDMI cables, open the Windows version of the HDHomerun app on the PC, and watch for hours with none of those problems. There's occasional pixelation (as to be expected with any indoor antenna), but none of the show stopper problems listed above. So, what's up with the app on the Shield TV?
Good update. Luke the PIP option with the Android Oreo update. The only thing that is missing is now Chromecast support.
Fire TV user who got tired of trying to watch live TV in Kodi. This thing works great as long as your router doesn't suck
It work. It just sad it lack a lot of supported equipment( dnla only). So no DVR options or tv guide. Please add support app for samsung smart tv(tizen os) like on adroid tv. Go plex for the supported equipment for now.
Allow Chromecast and this app would be near perfect. Dropped 2 stars since we've been waiting for this feature for over a year.
