Easy to set up and use. Will see how well it maps through daily use. Update: Very easy to track foods and exercise. I've been able to keep up to date and appreciate the tips that are provided. The graphs provide an excellent way to see where I am at a glance. Recommended app to my daughter who is finding it just as helpful as I have. Only downside seems to be difficulty in adding her as a 'friend' - we've been unable to get that to work.
It's a great app with some amazing features. You just have to pay for it all. I have tried many fitness apps with a lot more free content than this one. It's understandable that you would have to pay for certain things. But not being able to read what's in your food ethoiut premium?! Might as well not have the app. Not everyone can throw money down the drain everything they want a better lifestyle
Great app! MyFitnessPal refused to work with Samsung Health after hours or messing with it. Quick google search revealed MFP has issues with many 3rd party apps such as fitbit etc. In my search someone recommended this app and I'm really glad they did! Very easy setup, has a barcode scanner for food, and it syncs to Samsung Health instantly. I am so happy I was going to buy premium to say thank you to the devs however, I dont "rent" software on a monthly basis.
I like the idea of this app and I purchased it because of it's similarities with fitbit and 8fit. One thing I do not like is the food ideas. They are much to exotic. Some of the ingredients I've never heard before. If I were to use the meals I would like for them to utilize a shopping list instead of me going through every single food and writing down what I would need. All in all, the interface is nice and it's easy to use. Just don't care for the recipes.
It's a nicely designed app and has good options for different plans. It seems pretty European-centric though. I was expecting non-metric measurements in recipes when I selected USA, but I'm still seeing things like grams and milliliters. There are also sometimes (but not always) commas where one would expect decimals. I'm also disappointed at the lack of community. I didn't realize before I upgraded that there is no built-in community, but rather you have to invite people to also use the app. I'd like a built-in community to meet other people and get support through already existing users.
The apps is great: user friendly, easy to use and very helpful for health benefits. For me as a diabetic it s so much easier to keep track of carbs intake. Only for me but negative is that there are synchronisation errors with Samsung so health. It adds up to 10.000 steps and 400 calories a day what makes it really unreliable. If that is fixed I will buy premium.
- Find recipes easily in tab bar.
- Bug and performance fixes.
