For something that is meant to "just work" I've had nothing but trouble I bought a SIM for Costa Rica as soon as we crossed the border from Panama I fired up the SIM card and whilst I had four bars and roaming was enabled I had absolutely no internet connection this meant I incurred cost having to connect to my UK roaming. Support took over 12 hours to get back. I then bought aGlobal sim and again had nothing but trouble with it. The app only works with an internet connection! Painful experience

Great service, simple to set up. Have had issues with similar services before, so I availed of the tree trial to make sure everything worked, very smooth so signed up for a longer SIM while travelling. Easiest to set up of the few similar apps I've used, online straight away and no need to think of it again

Android user: saw this on the list of other apps and compared the price for Turkey and this was the cheapest. I bought it a week before and on the day of travel while on WiFi, activate it and there is a button to install it in the app. Once installed, I went to the sim manager to turn on roaming and left voice and sms to my original sim card as well as data (for now). Flew out and on arrival switched the data to the esim and I was online straight away. Perfect and no problem with reception.
