How it works:
fitRaise enables organizations of any size to use their supporters' fitness activities to raise money for the cause. This application allows individuals to run, walk, or cycle to raise money and awareness for causes they support.
Money is raised by individuals that collect pledges for each mile that they run, walk, or cycle during a multi-day event period. Users can exercise whenever and wherever they choose during the event period.
Donors visit a user's donation page to select a pledge per mile, a minimum donation, and a maximum donation to support the participant and the charity organization. When the event is over, fitRaise donations are automatically sent to the cause based on total pledges collected and the total miles completed by the user.
How do I start playing Freerice?
In the center of the Freerice Home page you will see something like:
To play the game, tap on one of the four definitions ("little", "old", "big" or "yellow") that you think is the correct answer. If you guess correctly, Freerice donates 10 grains of rice to help end hunger. In the example above, you would want to click on "little", which means "small". When you select the correct answer, you earn 10 grains of rice - your donation is automatically counted without any further action required on your part. You'll then get a chance to play another question in the same way. You can play as long as you like and donate as much rice as you like.
Who pays for the donated rice?
The rice is paid for by the sponsors whose names you see on the bottom of your screen when you enter a correct answer. These sponsors support both learning (free education for everyone) and reducing hunger (free rice for the hungry). We thank these sponsors for their generous participation at Freerice. For information about how you or your company can sponsor Freerice, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Freerice is owned by and supports the United Nations World Food Programme.
Freerice has two goals:
1) Provide education to everybody for free.
2) Help end world hunger by donating free rice to hungry people.
Whether you are CEO of a large company or a street child in a poor country, improving your education can improve your life. It's a great investment in yourself. Perhaps even greater is the investment your donated rice makes in hungry human beings, enabling them to function and be more productive. Somewhere in the world, someone is eating rice that you helped provide.

I am not affiliated with ToneItUp, I simply created this for personal tracking of miles.
100% of funds raised or donated goes into this charity. We are also proud to state that no wages are paid, or claimed, by any of our extremely hard working team!
Our aim is fourfold….
Firstly, we are spending time and money on a nationwide (and in some cases worldwide) awareness campaign through the media, social networks, leaflets and posters, to try to make both men and women more aware of the dangers of cancer and to help men help themselves. We believe that prevention is the key to beating cancer.
Secondly, we want to open a male only contact point for men/boys who have been diagnosed with cancer or are worried about cancer and their families. So if you know anyone who needs our help or if you need our help yourselves, please contact us today. We are here to help you so get in touch.
Thirdly, we are funding an education programme for teenagers to help them understand and take away the taboo of talking about testicular cancer and asking for help. We are currently setting this up
