The app is working as described, however, I wish there were higher-rez images available and that I could position the image and make it "static" to match the lock-screen image. As is, I have to blur the image significantly so it's very difficult to tell it's pixelated, which has the side effect of making the image not very representative of what I was expecting. Note: I did not experience any significant delay between the song changing (I use Google Play Music) and the wallpaper changing - it might have been 3-4 seconds, but considering it needs to download the artwork, this is acceptable. Overall the extension does what they promise, but could be so much better. In a future update, changes I would like include higher-rez images, and preventing positioning of the wallpaper from changing when scrolling through homescreens.
Works great most of the time, but... ...there should be an option to use the embedded album art on my phone, so it can be set to the ones I add. The online ones can sometimes be low resolution and look awkward.
It's a shame so many idiots rate this poorly because they don't know how it works. Transitions smoothly and works perfectly fine.
Good concept, but not quite right. I would've loved for this to work, but it's too sluggish. I could live with it taking a few seconds for the new album art to fade over, but it takes half a minute with Spotify, and sometimes doesn't change at all.
Great extension but why should it download the artworks instead of using the notification artwork like most apps do? It would be neat if the extension supports this.
Good, But..... Unfortunately, I have to disable and then re-enable notification access for the background to change every time I turn the phone back on. I use Spotify on the HTC One M7. Is there a fix?
- Added support for Lollipop
- Most music players now supported via notification service. Don't forget to urn it on via the extension settings!
- Add untested support for SoundCloud
