Simplisafe seems really great at the onset. But after using the system consistently for many months it's cracks begin to show. The cameras constantly drop connection, they almost never work in live view. The worst part is that on top of it all you do not get logged recordings. Only motion events are saved and the sensitivity to motion is completely uncalibrated. The tinea I have actually needed it, it failed me. Look for a different system with better features for the price.

Newest update seems reliable, however upon looking at camera list on app it doesn't present recent image. In order to see most recent image I would have to activate camera to see live view, followed by resetting or exiting the app, then open app again in order to have the last image posted on the cameras list. The downside is, they raised the premium package for the services but other than that I thoroughly enjoy the system as a secondary measure for my other cameras.
