Definitely needs an update Used the free version for awhile and hoped that unlocking it would provide a better user experience. Sad to say NO! Have to recalibrate often. Lots of pops. Needs an undo/delete option. Can't get metronome out of mix. Obviously it's not a priority since developer focuses on Caustic App instead.
So close! It works pretty well when calibrated, but the timing actually seems to drift during use. If I could tap the screen while singing or something to help it stay synchronized, I'd do that! Anyway, it works fine. Some reviewers can't seem to figure out certain things: The click track is in the track on the bottom and you can mute it. Also, the mute buttons work, just differently than you'd expect: the mute/unmute takes effect only at the beginning of the loop, and the button doesn't visually indicate muting, the gray tint of the waveform does. Thanks for making this. I just wish so badly that the timing was perfect :)
Would be great... If the timing didn't drift off so quickly. Even after calibrating multiple times I can't get the recording to be in time with the click track, it's always delayed. Sad. This has great potential!
Ridiculously well-coded. Single Cell Software is an absolute wizard. Both this and Caustic are the highest-quality apps I've found on Android, and they're both incredibly easy to use and useful to draft songs on. They're also just really fun to play around / jam with.
Potential I purchased this as I had a mess around with the trial, loved what I made and wanted to export it. Since found the program extremely frustrating. No undo/delete button recording over a recording seems to intermittently work. Needs a delete sample button desperately and toggle the metronome!
One annoying problem! There seems to be a bug in your Mute Track button... once it is pressed, the selected track sometimes mutes forever even when the track is "unmuted" (even the button itself indicates that mute is not turned on, but the track doesn't play.) Other than that, it's very good except for the tiny pause in between replays. Overall, though-- I spent hours giddily having fun with this app. Well worth the $2 to save tracks!
