When the app works, it's pretty good. The ability to use your phone/tablet as a screen for the camera is cool, and importing is pretty straight forward. The problem is it doesn't work very often. I have extreme difficulty getting the phone to connect to the camera, and then once that is taken care of, getting the APP specifically to recognize the connection and let me do anything. Why on earth not just let us connect with a cable and a real computer program?

The camera is great! But this app,, when it DOES connect, only runs for 20 seconds or so before stalling out. I'll close the app and reconnect again somewhat easily SOMETIMES, but still only for 15 to 20 some odd seconds before freezing up and stalling out again. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8+. It's not "new", but you'd think it should still be compatible for smooth usage right? Maybe I'm outa touch with expectations of technology. But I'd really LOVE for this app to work for me ๐Ÿ˜‘.

Too bad the app is useless. The camera is good, but the app is highly difficult to make connect, then once it finally does it crashes the moment you attempt to look at an image. Might as well not bother having an app at all. I'll just use the sneaker-net method to transfer the images. Much simpler, but more time consuming.
