Latest update has brought new connection bugs. Audio Quality Settings Need Improved. Designed to minimize data use, not maximize consumer experience. I understand it reducing the audio quality when it lacks bandwidth, but when bandwidth comes back so should the quality. Often struggles to keep a connection and locks up on a new flagship phone even when there is strong Internet. Would be nice if it worked with Amazon Echo or Google Home.
"trying to recover audio" all the time when I start the app or restart the stream after taking a call. Doesn't matter, gigabit fiber WiFi or full signal LTE. Never, ever had this much trouble until the updates on the app started last month! My TuneIn Radio app with a 181.fm station streams all day, all night and totally free without issue! Fix the app or the streaming provider ASAP!
This app just does not work. Every time I start it out tries to resume playing whatever I last was listening to. The"go live" button does nothing and the app plays for about five seconds, then claims to be "trying to recover audio." Nothing I do well get it to just play the live feed of the station I want to listen to. I can't believe I'm stupid enough to actually pay for crappy performance like this…
I love Sirius, but the app sucks so bad. Constantly having issues with "trying to recover audio", constant issues with having to disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth from my phone to the car to get it to play even though it works fine with my other music services, and the super ass annoying message that the time on my device is off so I can't play on demand without rebooting my phone. Please fix this terrible app.
Too many weird problems! Now all 11 disappeared from Favorites! Stops playing often and displays "We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties." Wheel spins and I wait and wait for the channels to display, then after several minutes (up to 30) I have to restart the phone, far too often! It must be nice to be a monopoly with no competition.
The app was actually working great for the past few months. Then you updated it, and it randomly stops playing or it tells me the date on my phone is wrong and won't play. I have to turn my phone off and back on and I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. This is the third time an update to your app has resulted in it being impossible to use. I'm about ready to cancel my subscription.
