Usability Game is a game application with the aim of collecting statistic data about the usability of mobile application interfaces.
By means of simple, yet exciting games, you can challenge yourself and compare your results with the ones of other user. At the same time you help us gathering information about how guidelines for the usability of mobile applications are still correct and how we can improve them: you can help computer science, with your speed and attention abilities!
In this first release you will have the 'Circle game' available, in four different versions: you have 30 seconds to click on the highest number of circles appearing on your screen and to get the highest score you can. Each version of the game has 5 different levels of increasing difficulty and at each level you can compare your results with the average results, to gather extra points (but careful, you could also loose points if you didn't perform well). The higher is your score, the higher you will be in the general chart, the better the medal you will get.
Data is collected anonymously and sent to a server that calculates the average results of data from all players. Results are shown in a colored graph, on a website that you can find at the url: http://22.214.171.124:443/
Usability Game is developed by the University of Urbino, Italy for a PhD program.
