The Horse Scanner app currently identifies more than 160 different horse breeds, including all common breeds from the Andalusian Horse to the Tennessee Walking Horse, as well as many other popular national and international horse breeds! Our comprehensive database with information and pictures of all supported horse breeds (including the unofficial ones) can also be accessed completely without scanning!

Let us know if the horse’s breed has been correctly identified. If not, you will get useful tips to improve your own results. If you also indicate which horse breed is in the picture, you help us to enhance our software since the app automatically learns how to provide even more accurate outcomes. Horrible. I have 4 horses. 3 of which I know exactly what breed. My registered branded standardbred came up a quarter horse. My sheltland pony said mini horse. And my quarter horse/halfflinger cross said standardbred. My recent rescue a flea bitten grey gaited horse came up standardbred. So basically the ones that aren't standardbred say they are. And the actual standardbred isn't one. Don't waste your time. It's a trash app.

App is VERY inaccurate. My paint mare was apparently a Spotted Saddlebred even though she is a APH and is not gaited (Sep 24), then in Feb 25 I put in a mare we are possibly getting and she's gaited and they said she was 80% Pinto (Pintos not a breed) and 15% APH which you couldn't see her gait in the photo so I let that slide then I put in a photo of her being ridden where you could see she had a special gait and they said she was a Mangalara Machador, yeah no she ain't that.

It's okay but it is a bit hard to use and it's not very good. Sometimes I scan my horse to see if it gets it right and it's nowhere close, he's a new forest and it comes up with a Percheron. Wouldn't really recommend.
