The app can come in handy. It is aesthetically pleasing and it does its job for the most part. Now heres my problem with the app, while it is nice, the features it offers are not hard to recreate in free art and editing software, like gimp. Now this would all be fine, had the eraser not been $4. Reading through the reviews, you're saying that because you put so much work into it is why you're charging $4. Thats fine but you can't expect people to buy a simple feature of an app that many free art software offer for free.
This is an amazing app, it works great with no lag & no ads to distract you. Almost everything is free, which makes it even better. It has cool (free!) features I haven't found in similar apps. The only things you pay for (if you want them) are the eraser & a few extra shape packs. To the Shapical team: thank you for taking the time & effort to produce this quality app! *Note, on one of the shape packs pages it says "four-dimencials", I would correct that to "four-dimensionals".
Pretty cool. The UI is a little fiddly in parts, like selecting your blur type. Would be good if you could morph shapes rather than just resize them, or if you could draw freehand shapes. The built-in shapes aren't always the right proportions for my photos.
This is a great app for editing! My only problem is that there isn't any way of telling of your shape is aligned/even or not. I wish they could include some type of grid or method of evening shapes as a feature.
I bought this app and it's awesome. Loving it. it jus gave my pictures a new dimension but the thing that I need is the ability to add more than one shape as you know only one shapes can be used at a time and I have the save the composition, export it and open it again to add another layer of shapes. You only have the option to scale the shape either up or down and don't have the control to increase either only height or width of the shapes.. if you guys could add position and rotation control with some slider control it would be great rotating the shapes in 3D and positioning in 3D it is a bit difficult...
Great app! It's just that after purchasing the eraser and other features, it keeps saying "no internet access". Any way how to fix that?
This version brings further stability tweaks and includes the following updates:
- Eraser tool got an upgrade with a soft brush and improved performance of Undo/Redo buttons.
- When you press the Android Back button, the app will now navigate to the previous page.
- We fixed an issue where shapes would not appear correctly in some instances.
- Improved processing of source images and blur effects.
- Increased maximum shape size.
Thanks for using Shapical!
