Even though I'm not a runner, I love this app. It's flexible enough to let me participate at my own level (walking, I have a doctor's note) and get just as much enjoyment, while others can use it to push hard. I'm a novelist and I love the story and worldbuilding. I even use this while walking for exercise through airport terminals, where the shuffling crowds add a lot of ambiance! I frequently recommend this app to others.
This is hands down the best thing I ever did for my fitness. I started off with it at seventeen stone, struggling to run more than ten seconds at a time. I now happily run every other day, three to five miles generally, and weigh what I did as a teenager. It's quite amazing, actually. I cannot describe how invested I am in the fictional world of this app. Not only do I want to know what happens next, I genuinely feel like 'Runner Five' once the story starts rolling. Plus, so many characters to love and /or hate, so many twists and turns and terrors for our hero (that would be us Runners.) Cannot wait for the next season, so I can carry on saving the world. Currently 'binge running' earlier missions to keep me in the game. Yes. I did just say 'binge running.' It's a thing now. Running from zombies, more fun than chocolate.
It's good. But the problem is that it turns off when I play music for a while. And it does not save my place when it turns off.
When I try to sign up, it won't register my email for seemingly no reason at all. It just remains red and won't let me sign up. I'll change my review once this bug gets fixed.
Would be amazing if you could sync your run with friends!!!
