About this app

sketchometry is dynamic geometry software, the "grasp" makes the planar geometry in the truest sense of the word. By simply sketch (sketch) of the desired objects with their fingers or a pen arise in sketchometry geometric constructions. The software recognizes the drawn object and creates an exact image. In order to explore mathematical relationships, the geometric objects can be taken "in hand" and are rotated and changed at will. The designs created are stored locally or in the cloud. Export to HTML pages or interactive e-books is possible.

The sketchometry program is being developed at the Department of Mathematics and Didactics at the University of Bayreuth and is free of charge.

Zero instructions with app. I went to the help webpage that has instructions for a few things like gestures. Still next to impossible to use for my purposes. Text disappears when I go to save. Can't pivot text; heck, even just repositioning text is difficult, at best. Can't view at screen size without grid lines. An app that you have to read a manual on just to get started before you then have so much difficulty using is not worth it.

Intuitive interface! Easy to use compared to alternatives. Cloud access seems broken though (Android 11?) and I can't save/import local files either. Solution: use the web version instead -- it's perfectly optimized for mobile devices! Then you can use your web browser's file manager to manually import and save files in the cloud (or local, of course).

Not user friendly and has an odd affect on the audio of the devices in use. Very difficult making basic square or circles without having to click features off and on to repeat making a fix point
