The app stopped working well. The EQ does not save, so the custom can't be used. The app hasn't been updated for a year, and the "more features" thing that has said "coming soon" also does not work. Edit: The app still does not work, but customer support did get back to me trying to fix the issue with a bunch of different things I could try. That's why I raised this from 1 to 3 stars.

Headphones connect to phone flawlessly, then freeze up my phone constantly and don't allow use of the on screen keyboard at all in any app while connected. Need this app do update firmware to hopefully fix this. This app refuses to connect to my headphones, even when the phone detects them and outputs audio to them. Can't update the firmware at all without the application, which, again, refuses to detect them, even when they are already connected. Probably just going to return them.

Not only does the app work poorly, the entire UI recently became zoomed in to where I can't even see the battery of my right headphone. Sometimes the app doesn't even work at all. Even while I'm listening to music through them, it just fails to connect. If you're going to force me to use an app to be able to use the features of the headphones please take the time to make the app functional.

Thanks for supporting Skullcandy! None of our products require the app to use. We're working on the zooming issue, but in the meantime, you can go to Settings > Display > Screen Resolution and set it to a higher resolution than it is currently set at. Please email appdev@skullcandy.com if this does not work.
