Thank you Jeremy and the Skybell HD team. I agree with the other reviews. The firmware and app updates have made this product from a fun toy that often did not perform the basic function it was marketed for, to frequently hitting the mark. Feature request. Many of the users have back lighting issue. Add the ability/setting soon to adjust the lighting to handle this issue which currently has the person very dark in front of the Skybell HD because of a sunny bright sky in the background.
Works very well on LG G3 and iPhone 6 w/Linksys AC5400 Max-Stream router. Was easy to set up. One problem encountered was adding another user. When doing that make sure all users use the same account credentials, i.e. same email address and password. Otherwise all went well. Kudos to Skybell; the HD is a winner.
I'm updating my review. After some work and updates, the software and experience is much improved. I have not been able to track down why the led light on top sometimes stays on,but shuts off when. Motion is detected. If the smart things integration works well, this will be great!
It's an awesome door bell. My only issue so far is I wish I was able to just select the recordings in a group to delete instead of deleting them one at a time. My front door is filled with activity people passing often so I have allot of unwanted recordings. Please help. Overall nice piece of technology. I just realized that the multidelete function was made available you guys really do listen... and now it's a 5 star for me
Beware!! Does not work with Samsung galaxy s6 edge.. won't let me get past the page asking for my networks password. I click the "next" button and nothing happens. I tried turning off my mobile data, I tried logging out of the app and back in.. nothing would work:/ I'm sad because I used to professionally install these for a security company.. and loved the video quality.. I bought one.. and here I am.. without the ability to use it:/
I've been in touch with Jeremy @ Skybell and he assures me this will be ironed out. Live view is finally fixed. Absolutely no audio and I seemed to have lost ALL notifications, motion and doorbell button presses. Sacrificing one feature for another. Ultimately, I would think motion and button press notifications would take priority over live view. EDIT 3/23 Lost all audio on feeds. Can't hear anything!
