SkyFi is the easiest on-demand Earth observation data app — ever. With SkyFi’s commercial data, you can access Earth observation imagery in resolutions as crisp as 30 cm. Leaving no sight unseen, SkyFi makes it easier than ever to access Earth observation data and analytics, including high-resolution satellite imagery, free low resolution imagery, and relevant Insights all through your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Gain a unique perspective on any location in the world from our ever-expanding network of satellite, aerial, and analytics providers. With SkyFi, you’re only a tap away from acquiring new or existing imagery. In addition to imagery, SkyFi gives you the ability to layer analytics to get even more from the data through SkyFi Insights. Our comprehensive Insights toolkit encompasses features such as building detection, DEM, NDVI, and much more.

The ordering process is simple and user-friendly. First, create your area of interest, which can either be a rectangle or an uploaded custom shape file to easily integrate with any workflow. Then, choose an Existing Image from our archive or order a New Image and have a satellite capture of your area of interest during a future date range of your choosing. Through the app, you can also select the sensor type that will best meet your needs, including daytime, nighttime, video, and radar. You can add SkyFi Insights to your existing order, or simply order a new image with Insights to better understand what is happening over time within your selected area.

Ratings and reviews

The service is great, and it's fantastic that satellite imagery on-order has gotten this cheap. The app itself is very battery-intensive. After a few minutes of use, while moving the mask off existing imagery the framerate drops to sub-10 fps. This makes (trying to) zoom very difficult, as the touchscreen struggles to recognize the user's intent. This is an app in development and my rating will improve as the app does. Thanks for your efforts, and keep it up!

I just checked out this app and the images that they are giving us are VERY old images. The image of my home is over 10 years old and I know there are new images of my home being shown in these Satelite images because they show my new roof already. You can get these from any other Satelite or mapping software for FREE and NOT FOR THOUSANDS of $$$ DOLLARS, like they want to charge. Stay away! There are many much better sources of these types of images and for FREE!!!

Bad user interface, lack of clarity as to what you will get, sample images that don't show full resolution even where they indicate geographically they will. Expensive images to boot, no useful information on what the various sensor options are or what they actually give you over basic. Neat idea, poor implementation.
