Good for newbie So I recently decided to start trying to manage my diabetes better. This app is a great way for me to keep track of things and also share with my doctor easily. I kind of wish there were better or more varied options for tracking the amount of food. Always trying to figure out the grams is difficult where is being able to do a different unit of measure such as tablespoon or cups would be nice. On the whole I do find this application very useful.
Very helpful app! Glucose Buddy has really helped me track my cat's diabetes. It's easy to set up, however once diet & medication information is entered, it would be nice if it was possible to edit them. Instead one must delete mistakes and enter the item again. But the log itself is easily edited once set up. The log can also quickly be emailed to his doctor. The graph is easy to read. The reminders work great and are easy to control, keeping me on task.
Really Good I'm impressed so far with this app, and I like that you can also track your blood pressure. My only wish would be that you could customize the homescreen. This is personal information that I really don't ever want to share on twitter or facebook, and those icons clutter up the homescreen. It's a really small issue, but I think the user experience would be much better if they could be removed.
Wonderful App This App allows me to keep current records in regards to my BG levels, medications and dosages in one place. My favorite part of the App is that it compiles all of my info into a database then converts it into an excel spreadsheet allowing me to email my info directly to my doctor. I would recommend this App to anyone who is looking for an App to keep all of their diabetic information at their finger tips for ease of sharing/reporting their information to their doctors! God Bless!
Warning: Now broken - Cannot export logs I have used this application for nine months, and it did the basic job that I needed, which was to record my BG readings each day. Most of us diabetics need to record this information to spot trends that might signal that a change in medication or lifestyle is needed, and to provide to our doctor during regular reviews. Unfortunately, the app is broken (I believe since upgrading to 4.4 KitKat), and logs can no longer be exported to e-mail. I get an error that the application does not have read permissions to the extracted file. E-mails to the listed support contact have gone unanswered, and on the forums it appears that Android support has been abandoned. I recommend not wasting your time entering all of your readings into this application. I guess you get what you pay for sometimes.
Great App! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of information that can be tracked by this app. Some of the entry fields aren't as responsive as I'd like and the ability to sync (online or off) information is missing but other than that I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to keep tabs on their diabetes and blood pressure.
