Good for newbie So I recently decided to start trying to manage my diabetes better. This app is a great way for me to keep track of things and also share with my doctor easily. I kind of wish there were better or more varied options for tracking the amount of food. Always trying to figure out the grams is difficult where is being able to do a different unit of measure such as tablespoon or cups would be nice. On the whole I do find this application very useful.
Good but needs tweeking First day using Glucose Buddy and I'm finding it really useful. But... Dates need to be reformatable to dd/mm/yyyy, we're not all American, and the majority of the world do not use the US date system. Must be possible as you already allow changing of Blood glucose Units from US to International Sync needs to be got working, I use a laptop, a tablet and a Smartphone and it would be great if I could sync the data automatically via the GB website. Ability to Enter number of calories in food, total weight of food and weight of carbs seperately, and ability change units to ml for liquids/drinks. Do those and it'll be worth a 5 star review.
Very helpful app! Glucose Buddy has really helped me track my cat's diabetes. It's easy to set up, however once diet & medication information is entered, it would be nice if it was possible to edit them. Instead one must delete mistakes and enter the item again. But the log itself is easily edited once set up. The log can also quickly be emailed to his doctor. The graph is easy to read. The reminders work great and are easy to control, keeping me on task.
Does the job. I'm new to needing this kind of application so I was happy to find a free app that did what I needed for basic data capture. Having said that there are some things I would pay for. 1. I use a tablet for the majority of readings so I would like the app to adjust to screen orientation. 2. Printing capability for all screens or the ability to generate PDF output. 3. More graph options for example provide the option of either selecting the reading event (before meals vs after meals) or separating the event types and color coding them. 4. Color code the graph nodes that have comments in the event log since the comment might have a direct bearing on a particular anonymous entry. One thing I would suggest is a bug is that if I answer the prompt about asking for a reminder at a later time for me to make a rating, you might want to increase the interval to something longer than every time I bring up a new window. If I ask for a reminder its because I haven't made up my mind or don't have the time so if you annoy me I will often just not respond or not give a rating you would like.
Helpful tool, would like to see some additional features Has really helped me keep track of my T1D daughter's numbers - especially while we're eating out. A carb coumt database would be REALLY helpful, as well as the ability to log all info. for meals in 1 entry.
Really Good I'm impressed so far with this app, and I like that you can also track your blood pressure. My only wish would be that you could customize the homescreen. This is personal information that I really don't ever want to share on twitter or facebook, and those icons clutter up the homescreen. It's a really small issue, but I think the user experience would be much better if they could be removed.
