Superb where is T S Eliot, G B Shaw, W H Auden, Golding, Larkin, Tolstoy? please add them and I will give you 5 star. I am suspicious whether it is really a home library or not because I don't find any depiction about ancient literature though it is also a part of literature. So, fix it, otherwise this lacking can't be filled up the satisfaction of those people who want to know more about literature.
Good selection I would pay the two dollars to get rid of the ads on this app, but the books are all formatted for a 16:9 aspect ratio, and apparently isn't adjustable for a 4:3 aspect ratio. That's more annoying than you might think. Please e-mail me when this problem is fixed and I will buy the app.
Stop complaining and get a clue If you don' understand publishing and royalties, you might continue to say stupid things like " books from the last ten years" or "ancient". Like most people of your generation, you're so obviously ignorant and dismissive of things you don't understand. Now you gripe about the AGE of the literature? This had got to be the stupidest generation of all time. Get a clue, you're being offered great works for free. Because the author's heirs royalties have long ago expired.
Great app for offline reading UPDATE: It now works on my Galaxy Tab Pro... though it takes about 40 to 60 seconds to load a book. But really... how can you complain about that?? Once the book is loaded, the navigation, etc. is clean & effective. And there are zillions available offline!!!] It does exactly as it says. Sooo cool to be able to have a zillion great books available offline. This works perfectly on my Asus Transformer tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich. But for some reason it will no longer open books on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. I've uninstalled, then reinstalled but when I click on a book to load, it just sits there with the whirling hourglass circle thing and nothing happens. However, I still think its great and worth having on my old tablet. Nice work!
The pages are all cut off in most every work I am looking at. It looks like they scanned 2/3 of each page out of existing books sacrificing about 10% of the binding side page's print. Good idea, terrible execution. I have a feeling everyone that rated this didn't actually read it.
Great app! What's not to like? Easy to navigate, spoilt for choice. And for free! I would love to see it update so there are more works like a previous reviewer has said, but apart from that it's great to have all these works in one place, can't complain. A+++
