Access Permissions:
All permissions are optional and require consent (you can continue using Skype without granting these permissions, but certain features may not be available).

• Contacts - Skype can sync and upload your device contacts to Microsoft's servers so that you can easily find and connect with your contacts that already use Skype.
• Microphone - The microphone is needed for people to hear you during audio or video calls or for you to record audio messages.
• Camera - The camera is needed for people to see you during video calls, or for you to be able to take photos or videos whilst you’re using Skype.
• Location - You can share your location with other users or use your location to help find relevant places near you.
• External Storage - Storage is needed to be able to store photos or to share your photos with others you may chat with.
• Notifications - Notifications allow users to know when messages or calls are received even when Skype is not actively used.
• Read Phone state - Access to phone state allows you to place a call on hold when a regular phone call is in progress.
• System Alert Window - This setting allows Skype screensharing, which requires access to all information on the screen or played on the device whilst you record or broadcast content.

I have actually had terrible experiences with Skype. I have actually utilized it on my phone, on my computer and also on my iPad. None have actually been good. The voice and also video clip high quality are constantly horrible and also the client service is constantly awful. I have had to call them many times that it is starting to get bothersome.

I used to use Skype all the time and it worked great! The quality on the video and recording is good. But I got signed out, I signed back in but now it can't do anything. It freezes and want do ANYTHING! I can't load contacts or try and text just a screen showing my profile and then not really anything other than the Skype platform and stuff. I would really like this problem fixed, I'm so sad I can't use this anymore because it doesn't work. PLEASE fix this!!

Horrible app! No improvements over the past 10 years. And now on the latest Android, when you leave the app while talking to someone and get back into the app, the screen is split into 2, with one side being a black square. Nothing works to fix it other than ending the call and redialing. Also the sound quality is horrible! Any other major app, ANY, has a much better sound quality
