Review from Simeon A. Scott
clearly for real pilots only (tm) you have to know super sekrit four-letter airfield code ids, not just names of towns or even publicly-used three-letter airport codes ... no integration to look up such info, or pick a long/lat from a map ... :-p oh.. and it demands that you connect via internet at least every ten days ... why?!
January 7, 2015Hi Simeon, sorry you were disappointed with this free version of our app. I think you must be using an old version because the licence check is now handled differently and doesn't require a regular internet connection. The 4-letter ICAO codes are just as publicly available as the 3-letter IATA codes but our sources of data use ICAO ;)
Do not waste your time It gives a set of data available everywhere and it only works with available active Internet connection. There are no any local databases on your phone. Did I forget to write that even in Internet free version will propose to download data only for one (1) airport situated somewhere deep in the ass of Mother Earth? Any other activities you get only after payment for "full" version (which will still do nothing when you are in flight and do not have an Internet connection). Go to the hell with such programs.
AvDroid Free Love it
I like it but free version is very restricted would have given 4 or 5 if I was able to test every feature
Why is it restricted for some countries to buy full version. :(
