Incompatible with Android 5.1.1 I upgraded to the above today and none of my sound notifications would work until I uninstalled this app. Hope you can sort it!
Won't work with notifications on stock Android 5.1. However, there is a workaround: either use it for ringer volume only (deselecting notifications control does the trick) or use a custom ROM/mod that unlinks ringer and notification volume sliders. Would have given it the 5 stars it deserves otherwise.
Works on Motorola G Seems to work pretty well on Motorola G. I was originally just looking for something to sense in-pocket, other apps didn't seem to work. Automatic volume adjustment for ambient noise is the most useful feature, though. Also found I use the "silence for an interval" feature often -- the time selection screen automatically appears if you turn the device volume all the way down using volume buttons, then you can set a time with one gesture. (E.g. 30 mins or 1 hour or whatever depending on length of your meeting, movie, show.)
Still like it, abandoned app The notification sound level control no longer works, although the silence timer is still the best. I'm afraid Marshmallow will do this app in. Don't recommend purchasing it because of no support.
Great App, small feature requests Your app works as advertised and is quite good. However, there are a couple of features that I think can greatly improve your usability in your application. 1) You can include Tasker/Locale/Llama plug-in support so that your app can interface with them. This can either allow those apps to enable/disable IntelliRing, change certain settings such as the lower and upper bound of the volume adjustment, or turn on and off linking ringer with notification volumes, etc. 2) Simple feature request to allow Office Beep mode to allow user to select their own melody for ringer and for notification (i.e. separate sound for each one). The inability to interact with Tasker/Locale/Llama loses one star as popular 3rd party support expands the usefulness of this app.
Abandoned app This used to be an awesome app, but the developer seems to have run away. As many others noted, the app is no longer compatible with recent Android versions.
1. Calibration removed in favor of more flexible ambient mode setting - see ambient tab and adjust to match your preference
2. Small bugfixes
