The Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ (SLH) app is designed for independently minded travellers to book over 580 independently spirited hotels around the world.

We’ve personally visited, verified and vetted every single one of our 580 hotels in more than 90 countries – each one is anti-chain and anti-same. With just 50 rooms on average, SLH properties are able to offer secluded, discrete options with the highest standards of luxury and guest wellbeing.

Ratings and reviews

The app has a clean interface, but I ran into a few issues during use. I initially registered with my Google account via the web, but the app currently doesn’t seem to support Google login, only email and password. Setting up a password was a bit confusing, as I received a message saying my account didn’t exist, which made it difficult to get the verification code. After a few attempts, I was eventually able to resolve this. I also have issues viewing the search results.

Terrible App. Only allows you to search on front page. No option to login. But...when entered all search criteria, and eventually rooms with rates, then requires login! Once logged in, all the previous search criteria is lost. A different and clunky search is now required with dreadful designed pages which do not load properly. Worse still, the selection of rooms and rates previously offerred are not shown. Gave up and booked direct with hotel...same rates! Why bother with this app?? ...

Great hotel chain, dreadful app with poor functionality. Any other hotel/travel app will open already personalised (assuming you have enrolled) and let you readily see your profile/staus/bookings...not this app. What is the point of it?
