Update: After years of frustration, I have reduced my 2 star to ONE. Sling is the WORST. They fail to fix known bugs, secretly tinker with functions, like automatically backing up fast forward actions to force you to watch unwanted content on recorded (DVR) programs. At least when traveling, they don't restrict usage after a certain time away. And yes, it's cheap. 2nd update: Now, every time fast forward is used (on DVR shows) the app moves back to the starting point. Do it again and you win!

DOES NOT WORK WITH CASTING OR TV I wish I knew this before purchasing. The app does not work with casting it TV. There is a "privacy" restriction that causes the stream to "automatically" close whenever there is a privacy or copyright concern. This means while watching TV the stream will close whenever there is copyright issue or something. Making it completely useless for watching live TV since you never know when it will close mid playback. It will not let you resume playback either.

For the free version the amount of ads is mind-numbing. It is over the top more than any other similar service subjects you to. While the choice of videos is great, I will not be using this any longer as I am halfway through a movie and I refuse to continue with the constant 2 to 3 minutes after watching 7 minutes of movie. I started the film on a Saturday night and I thought maybe that's a bad time and they load up the commercials but here it is Sunday morning and it's as bad as it was last ni
