Problems with latest android update Chromecast icon sometimes shows up, but most of the time it doesn't. I get a green flickering once in awhile as well. My fiance has an iPhone and sometimes she has a chromecast icon, and sometimes she doesn't. I'm using galaxy s7 with the latest updates. Works great when it works. Can we please get an update to fix the chromecast issues? Customer support is non existent.
Awesome App & system totally meet my needs. Great when you're away from home. Chromecast, Chromecast, Chromecast. Tut, tut, tut... What a shame. Paid all this money for a great product but the easy stuff slips through the devs fingers. How does that happen? Chromecast icon appears infrequently. But, TV on the phone is still excellent. Please fix the Chromecast issue and I'll return to 5 stars a sing sling box praises!
Best way to stream anything I love my Slingbox. I can watch anything its connected to on my tablet or cellphone but the Chromecast feature has weird issues that keep it from casting all the time. Casting icon doesn't even show up. It came back on right before I posted this but hopefully it stays. Only seems to work on the paid version.
What more can you ask for. Streams well, looks good, great features and now that they've added the guide along with photo and media streaming one is left wondering can it get any better? Don't hesitate to buy it is the real deal! UPDATE ..... I loved it before. I was excited to receive my S7 Edge and couldn't wait to view my Slingbox on this screen only to be so disappointed. It constantly flickers green. The sad part is I bought this app even before they reduced the price. So I reduced the stars from 5 to 1 please fix this.
GREAT APP!! Should not cost so much. Works great with Nexus 6P. Love the interface and responsiveness. Only reason for four stars vs five is price. IMHO, purchasing a hardware device, and then having to pay extra for the software to make it work, on my phone, and even more to make it work on a tablet, seems a bit greedy. At least there's no fees for USING the service.
Been a paid customer with Sling Box 500 for years. At a point, I couldn't log out of their server. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still kept me logged in. I changed my password and i'm still logged in everywhere including a public computer (that I never checked "keep me logged in" option). Wanted me to pay 29$ for an error that is on their end so that they can look in to it. Very poor customer service.
