I would say slowly is pretty good and it's honestly one of the only places where you can send long form letters and create actual friendships. I don't usually move my friends off of the slowly platform since I'm just fine sending letters back and forth. If you're trying to find a friend for texting on another social media platform, you can but make sure the other person is comfortable with it. Don't be pushy, as I've had people that are pushy with that kind of stuff and I usually block them.

Slowly is great. There are people with purpose and interests on this app and they mostly are patient. Unlike your experience with other instant messaging apps, Slowly makes it worth the wait. You won't get offended with a late reply nor will you find it hard to wait for a letter to arrive. It's a place to meet unique characters with a tinge of nostalgia.

fun getting to know strangers through letters. something about it makes it more meaningful and aesthetically pleasing. I just wished there was a option of denying people so I don't waste time waiting for a letter that will never come. but overall making friends from across the world is so much better when you take things slowly.
