WIKI information:

High-intensity interval training (HIIT), also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is a form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise. Usual HIIT sessions may vary from 4–30 minutes. These short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition as well as improved glucose metabolism.[1] Compared with other regimens, HIIT may not be as effective for treating hyperlipidemia and obesity, or improving muscle and bone mass. Some researchers also note that HIIT requires "an extremely high level of subject motivation," and question whether the general population could safely or practically tolerate the extreme nature of the exercise regimen.

Metabolic effects:
HIIT significantly lowers insulin resistance compared to continuous training or control conditions and leads to modestly decreased fasting blood glucose levels and weight loss compared to those who do not undergo a physical activity intervention.

Fabulous. Not got into connectivity with wearables etc., but as a pure HIIT timer I can't fault it. Totally awesome. Update... I've having issues with my bluetooth ear phones - the timer notifications, verbal and sound effects, don't keep time with the clock - they go slow, then rush to catch up. Pretty off putting. I can't find a way of adjusting the app volume separately to my music volume. The app always gets drowned out Have dropped my review from 5 to 4 stars

I can listen to my spotify playlist with the countdown and the voice on top. I can create my workout reps and the voice will say it out for me. So easy to use. Simple interface makes it easy on the eyes. Just some of the best things about this app! Totally worth the price! I super love it!

Love the app, but it has relational data issues to be fixed, I cant filter for a group if a workout has a relationship with another group. It wont show up when selecting a single filter. Also I lose relationships if I rename the group. I cannot do some simple workout reorganizing into a a new group! I am not the best coder around but I know that this needs to be fixed. Otherwise I love the app and use it regularly.
