Couldn't figure out screenshot. My power button stopped working and i needed an app. I couldn't figure out how to screenshot. I did alot of searching then I learned that my galaxy s4 already had an option built in that I didn't really need this. All you have to do is go to your settings then go to accessibility and then to dexterity and interaction then next you turn on the assistant menu on and you will have an icon on you home screen with all the same option the button has including screen shot.
Best of the lot, need some customization I have tried many on screen button apps but nothing works as closer to my liking as this one. The app is well thought out. has lot of customization options. Suggestions. 1. The default vibration is too strong. Should have system level vibration. 2. Should be an option reduce further the button size and spacings. 3.needs optimization for marshmallow.
HORRIBLE! DON'T INSTALL IT IF YOU PLAN ON UNINSTALLING IT LATER I am really disappointed with this app. It was very useful when I needed it. But now when I want to uninstall it, it does not allow me to. I mean whenever I try to uninstall it, a screen comes saying that this is a device administrator, and I need to remove it from the administrator list. But when I go to the settings to un-adminstrator it,and click the button the settings crash. When I do that to other administrators this does not happen. Fix this. Like seriously.
It won't let me kill the app I can't disable this button savior. For me it's not really helping with anything and the app won't let me disable nor delete it. Please allow me to delete the app or disable it since I am not using it and it is really annoying to have the button sitting there just to be touched by accident slowing down my tasks.
Can't turn off phone, help! Works great, apart from holding the symbol to bring up the restart/airplane mode/power off menu. It won't work. Can lock the screen, but not allow me to turn my phone off. This was the most crucial part for me, as my power switch has been removed due to the common boot loop issue. If anyone could tell me what I might be doing wrong, please let me know :) p.s I use a galaxy s4, have ordered a power switch, need a way to turn off phone of the time being. P.s2 I'd like to avoid just popping out battery if I can
Galaxy S6 UPDATE 09/14/2016. Lock and Reboot functions work well. Found another issue: on Galaxy S6, using fingerprint to unlock phone - if i use Button Savior to lock the phone, when i unlock, i must use my pin number to unlock. If i use the physical power button on phone to lock, the fingerprint works. Guessing that Button Savior needs update to be fully "fingerprint aware"?
