Doesn't work on SG3 on KitKat My SG3 is running KitKat (thanks for rarely upgrading, T-mobile!) I'd forgotten about this app since, with every place I travel on a daily basis where I end up having no signal (subway is top), this app has never made a peep. When I choose the test facility, it does make a sound so the deb's conditions for alerting seem to differ from how a signal loss truly manifests.
No work with Samsung Galaxy S5 OLD POST: Do not waste your time with this app. Sometimes does not detect the signal lost, in other occassions the signal alert never comes back, sometimes works others not works. The app itself confuses the change of antenna with signal lost. This app is a shame. I have written to the developer with no positive results. My phone is a Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro with the new Android update ICS 4.04. The developer told that update is coming. NEW POST: It was posted on september 7, 2012: THIS IS A NEW VERSION THAT WAS PROMISED BY THE DEVELOPER. I WILL TRY AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WIL NOTIFY OF ANY ISSUES TO THE DEVELOPER. LET'S TRY THIS NEW VERSION. MY BEST REGARDS TO THE DEVELOPER. I have been trying it with no results. This app is not recommended. NEW REVIEW (JULY 7, 2014) I HAVE THE SAME ISSUES EVEN WITH MY NEW SAMSUNG GALAXY S5.
stops No Signal alerts, too If you're eager to get notifications and sounds when you lose a signal, good for you and you'll like this app. If you're like me and live in an area that has notoriously bad cell phone coverage, you'll be eager to suppress notifications and sounds. There were times that I would get a sound every few seconds ("signal lost", "signal restored", and repeat this loop endlessly for hours at a time). With this app the notifications and sounds can be turned off forever. Yay! The vanilla phone had no method of stopping these sounds selectively, so this app was a dream come true. It's not like I can do anything useful about it when the signal is lost, unless I want to build a cell phone tower in my back yard, so it was kind of pointless to get constant non-actionable noises.
Works most of the times I was dreaming of such application and was very glad to find it. It does what it says will do most of the times. Would go for pro if had the guarantee that it will slert me of signal loss all the times
It works great but Works great for diagnosing an issue, but killing my battery pretty bad,its not an app u can leave on your device . 5 *'s because it dose what its sposed 2 but needs some major work on battery friendliness.
Not working on my Nexus 5 Does not work on my Nexus5 with Android 4.4.4. Shows signal strength but not lost of signal.
