Best pdf reader and annotator I've gone through the famous 15 but only this and epubreader cut it for me. This one is faster though. Pity though no updates for nearly a year now.
1 feature away from 5 stars This app needs a text reflow option. Text reflow is one of the most important features of any app that involves reading on a mobile phone. Not everyone has perfect eyesight and wants to always be scrolling like a type writer to read zoomed in text across the whole page. Please add this feature and I will give 5 stars bc it will then deserve it.
Fast Pros: 1. Really fast page rendering. 2. Search results quite fast. 3. Search results come in a list, with preview. Weaknesses: 1. In search list, once a page is chosen, all the search results disappear. Have to do a new search. 2. The frequently used buttons (index, bookmark, go to, search) should be placed below within easy reach. 3. No column crop on double tap.
Performance unmatched but still some issues * PDF's opened through Downloads, Gmail, Drive, or most other external apps, fail to load and are reported as corrupt. * App switches to portrait even when current orientation is landscape * Zooming out is not uniform and is distorted on Nexus 10 Also, I preferred the old rendering/loading screen, the little thumbnail, instead of making the whole screen go white. Maximum zoom ratio should be increased. More than 1 page of pre-render in the reverse direction would be nice.
Very fast, but somewhat unstable First the good news. This pdf reader is very fast - it renders pages in big, image rich pdfs in an almost unnoticeable amount of time. Big thumbs up for that. However, it lacks a search function that I can find, probably some other features as well, and sometimes crashes for no good reason. Still better for large files than anything else I have tried.
Not working well on Galaxy Tab S It used to work well on my Galaxy Tab S, but for the past few months highlighting and underlining don't work well. Underlining actually crosses out the line underneath. Highlighting does the same, but it's less obvious if you highlight several lines together. I regularly use the pen under annotation feature to draw lines, and notice I can't change thickness of the line. All these features used to work well with my Tab S, but no longer. They still work well with my Note 2, and with the Galaxy Tab 4. I hope you can make it work again.
