IntoRioneSanità is the official app designed to guide residents and visitors through one of the most vibrant and captivating neighborhoods of Naples. The app was created to provide simple, intuitive, and engaging access to the cultural, historical, artistic, and human heritage of the Rione Sanità, transforming every route into an authentic journey through its places, stories, and people.

Through an interactive map that guides users in real time, IntoRioneSanità allows exploration of monuments, churches, historic palaces, and lesser-known points of interest, creating a dynamic and engaging itinerary. From the Catacombs of San Gennaro and San Gaudioso to the Cemetery of the Fontanelle, from the Basilica of San Severo fuori le mura to the Blue Church, from the Borgo dei Vergini to the Jago Museum, each site becomes part of a collective story: that of a neighborhood that has turned its history into generative strength.

A distinctive feature of the app is the audio guide function, which does not merely provide information but offers genuine community narratives. The voices accompanying the visitor are, in fact, those of local residents, natural custodians of the neighborhood’s memories, anecdotes, and identity. Not professional voice actors, but locals, guides, artisans, and young people from the area: a chorus of authentic voices that enriches the visitor experience, making it unique, profound, and human.

Another innovative feature is the use of beacon technology. By activating Bluetooth and simply walking through the neighborhood or entering points of interest, the phone becomes a true “smart receiver”: it automatically detects beacons placed at various sites and opens content, information, stories, and insights specific to the location. This means there is no need to consult maps or manually search for entries: the app accompanies the visitor step by step, ensuring nothing is missed and turning the visit into a natural and spontaneous experience.

The app also integrates multimedia content, archival photographs, historical records, curiosities, and thematic routes designed to cater to different interests: sacred art, architecture, street art, spirituality, gastronomy, and daily life. Each itinerary is designed to encourage a slow and respectful experience, emphasizing the social value of the places as well as their aesthetic appeal.

IntoRioneSanità is not just a digital tool: it is a cultural project that emerges from the ground up, from the desire to share the beauty, resilience, and creativity of the neighborhood, offering visitors a perspective that goes beyond stereotypes.

This work of narration, preservation, and promotion—carried out together with the Rione Sanità community—is part of the broader social and cultural enhancement efforts led by Cooperativa La Paranza.
