App regularly shows units offline and uncontrollable. Router shows connected fine. Often will not reconnect unless the router or MrCool is shut down at breaker. Still, all units do not always reconnect. And, if you have comfy program on and app disconnects, the remote will not override it, so if you try to turn unit off it will follow comfy and turn back on. Replaced router twice with different brands. tech support did try to help. After 2.5 years, I give up. sorry, gotta go throw the breaker!

there is no way to delete the old Mr Cool "Smart Thermostat" from the app after replacement with a new one. Also, the history will occasionally display incorrect run times by overwriting a weeks worth of data and displaying that the unit ran constantly for 24 hours for each day of the week. clearing cache and data as well as reinstalling the app does not correct the issue. The app also lags behind the actual status and current temperature. Fix and it would be 5 stars.

Worked pretty good for about a week until I had to reboot my router, then would no longer connect. Trying to add a new device gets me nowhere. Edit: customer support informed me that pressing the LED button on the remote 7 times will enter discovery mode, allowing the device to be visible. To change the wifi settings in the app, the data must be off and for mesh routers, the one with the strongest signal must be selected. After following these steps, everything worked as it should.
