Developed by an educator, Smart Steps Mobile has decision trees for work, school, or life.
College and work present unique challenges, especially when it's a new step for you. Smart Steps provides a layered system of supports just for this time in your life when you're trying to deal with a lost backpack, a late ride, a question from a customer or being lost. You can edit and write your own content, too.
Create new decision trees for your agency, campus, employees or family so that you can offer your custom trees through a group licensing option.
Select a Decision Tree and walk through everyday problems one step at a time. Practical tips and suggestions are included, just when you might need them. Every Decision Tree ends up on a Success screen or a prompt to "Call for Backup".
Two levels are available:
1. FREE: Read Aloud Feature, Basic Profile screen, and Map. Select Decision Trees on the My Account page. View usage statistics on My Dashboard.
2. Decision Tree Maker - Edit existing decision trees or create your own! Imagine being able to tailor strategies to classroom or family routines. Reduce prompting and allow for more independence and self advocacy. Included: Decision Tree Maker portal access, choose color scheme, store Emergency Contacts which appear on the Help Screen, on the My Profile screen, or by pressing the Help Button.
Smart Steps eases the pressure of making everyday decisions. Did someone ask you a personal question on social media? Check out the decision tree to help you figure out how to respond. Is the bus late? Check out the decision tree for suggestions on dealing with a late ride. There's no right or wrong answer in any given situation because problem solving is contextual. Smart Steps empowers you to make the choices.
Smart Steps provides peace of mind for you and your loved ones as it can help with making decisions, social skills, and self advocacy.
