Reliability is improving The overall SmartThings experience is improving. Keep going SmartThings. The reliability of scheduler and event triggering needs improvement for 5 stars, but you're getting there
Kludgy, iPhone centric design Why keep shake to refresh and I still have to drill levels to turn on and off lights? i should be able to see temp and state for multi sensors on one button. Notification area control for droid? The widget is USELESS! Formatting is off on droid tablets. Moves tiles randomly when organizing things, wasting time. Samsung, please take the UI away from these people. Please just hand it off. Not every turtle makes it to the sea.
Geofence still an issue I don't know why this isn't figured out. My Google location history is updated online, but ST doesn't know I'm home. This is clearly not a phone problem but a ST issue. They need to fix this or come up with another way to sense presence with mobile.
Stable Seems to be more stable (Android version). I'm still waiting patiently for the version 2 hub and app as well but for now this will do. Would have been 5 stars but I still see some glitches when I leave and arrive at my home (mobile presence sensors).
Developers clearly don't care Geo-Fencing is still flakey. They blame on android yet all other GPS apps work perfect. Crashes and laggy. Worthless widget. Users have made their own apps that look and work better.
As I need it to be I use it mostly for remote monitoring of my cabin. I have sensors from multiple vendors, and I am tracking motion, flood, temperature, humidity etc. I,ve had it for a year. I just added a thermostat, and this is not for daily control so much as to bump the temp up before I get there in the winter. I receive alerts as expected. Problems I have seen are with rapidly cycling devices, which can then get out of sync. I have some lights, but user the timer function with no switches. I have a galaxy s5. Works.
Bug fixes and improvements.
