Great app I Have been using this app for over 6 months. I am not sure why people can't get it to work. Setup is only tough if u don't have basic computer skills. I have almost 20 different devices hooked up. Almost always works flawlessly for both my wife and I with a S7 phone. Has worked great from day one. Cheapest way to control your whole house with an alarm. Hard to beat the easy setup. Some devices are harder than others, but all were pretty easy.
Cool stuff I love the app and the system. No problems at all. The app and setup of "things" takes a little getting used and not everything works as "easy as plug and play" (especially adding/exclduing Z-Wave devices) but overall it's a pretty cool system... if setup correctly. With the ability to custom code things to act any way you want them to, the possibilities are limitless. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to code so they will be stuck with "plug and play" capabilities.
Crash crash crash Wish I would have gone with someone else. Junk don't buy this piece of s__t system. If you see their blog all they do is party and laugh at us for buying this junk. Good job dumbthings. Junk!! Check out smartthings Facebook Mar 13 post just one big party to them!
SomeThings - just never work right... All my stuff disappeared... If this platform doesn't improve, I don't see it staying around. Now I see zero devices, and one empty room. Update: The devices appear online, via the developer portal. Nothing shows up when I log in via my smart-phone. I have no smart apps or handlers. Not sure why I should have to call support over the fact that my devices don't appear. This doesn't make me want to call support, it makes me want to leave the platform.
If you just got it go and return it so you won't regret it. The team who ever is doing the coding sucks big time. The app crashes and won't let you do anything. So if you have a alarm setup make sure you run to it and remove the battery's as this won't let you remotely disarm. One week it works the other it dont. Never had so many problems with a product.
Sorry, but there was an unexpected error. No reason not to have triggers for door locks to turn off alarm when code is entered without third-party app. Inaccurate battery status on Schlage door locks. If the battery is too low it will not lock and will not tell you that it isn't able to lock. Try and arm the system while it's disconnected, sure. It will tell you it's armed when it isn't. These are easy fixes. 7-20-16 still sucks.
