Major location service problems since Nougat After the Nougat update, presence detection on the mobile app no longer works. You must manually go into the Smartthings app and then sometimes it will auto-disarm, but even then it normally requires you to manually click on disarm and then you have to go and cancel each siren. Sirens therefore go off every time we come home.
Forced login Same login issues as others. I don't get notifications when I'm logged out of the app, which is kind of why I liked Smartthings. Phone as a presence sensor doesn't always work. Buggy is a good way to describe this app. Prefer Lutron and Nest apps, but they are single purpose only with a few select integration options. But those apps work flawlessly.
Update is slow and logs out constantly This app used to be useful, but after the recent update, it's slow to load on my phone and has logged me out consistently. It's faster to manually turn the lights on/off. Please fix.
Used to work great Now my Honeywell thermostat disconnects every night and the automation software only work sometimes. I have one switch that turns on every day but never turns off, even when you try off schedule. Samsung needs to get this figured out and do way more research and development.
Things status and my location still don't refresh instantly. Things show as ON when they are really off in the All things list. Only refreshes visible items, scroll and they are the wrong status. Constant unexpected error messages. Home status constantly breaks with nexus 6p. Now keeps requiring login evey day or so.
Slow to get things done. Needs to be faster. Too many steps to find or so something. Miss the home center with breakdown of the items... Widget is on a spinning loading circle half of the time!!
