Use Volume Down or any custom button to start PTT (Push to Talk) for Walkie Talkie Apps like Zello and VoicePing.

This app uses accessibility permission to detect a button press. You can select a volume button or a custom button to start a Push-To-Talk.

How It Works

The fastest way to start or reply to PTT
1: Press Power button to wake up phone
2: Hold Volume Down/Custom button to PTT in the previously selected Zello/VoicePing Channel

4: Hold your selected PTT button

It's okay, I like that it's easier to access the app without having to open it, but I don't like the fact that I have to sacrifice the buttons, like the volume down button's function, just for this to work. It would be nicer if you could use button combinations, like the volume up and down buttons, to easily access it without having to sacrifice the buttons' function, or have it also be the power button, which I can still use to turn off my phone with the power and vol down button combination

I have a Blackview phone with a Side Key. FastTakie sets up the Side Key for use by Zello via enabling Accessibility for FastTalkie. I discovered that Settings/Battery/Battery optimation/ALL APPS/FastTalkie needs to be disabled to prevent FastTalkie Accessibility from getting disabled. Duraspeed does not exist on the phone. After 100 Side Key uses FastTalkie wants $15. That's extreme!

This thing is a mess! It's holding me at the permissions stage, but it's not telling me which permissions I need to grant. There's a ton and I keep checking them all off but I still can't proceed past the first screen. What a horribly designed app with zero instructions!
