Ratings and reviews

New update is absolute garbage. I just want to see my friends' stories, not ads and random "discover" stories. Put things back where they were. Keep stories and chat separate. edit 4/28/25: the app is somehow worse! Now it won't save my notification preferences and keeps spamming me with stories and updates from people I don't know or follow. it's gotten so bad I've turned off notifications all together

Update on 30th April 2025; glad that chats and stories have been separated again as it was so clashy and busy looking last time, BUT I hate whatever they've done to the music on the app since the last update, like you have completely ruined the music section (in the stories)! I used to love being able to choose the part of the song that I want to use for MY story, not you choosing the part for me! Bring it back!! Stop ruining what used to be a good app!!

Honestly, I have a harsh love/hate relationship with Snapchat. I love the filters and how easy it is to add other contacts. I am not a fan of the stupid AI convo right at the top where you can't remove it, annoying and irrelevant ads that pop up every 5 minutes and the restoration factor is super flawed. Unbelievable though how for years now, no ads, and now all of a sudden, ads GALORE!!! You really need to have a premium account to remove stupid ads? Waste of time!
