I had hoped that I could utilize this to organize galleries or at least move a private gallery to visible category within the app. There is no way I can find to edit what gallery my front page slideshow is chosen from - that could change per client meeting. Uploading is nice if someone forwards me a new image, but it doesn't take this to 5 star.
Fine for viewing...but I just use the web for that. The features that should matter are horrible. The autouploader frequently stops uploading entirely, and when it does work it's incredibly slow and ties up my entire wifi connection. My phone uploads a full batch of full size images to dropbox and google in less time than this app takes to do one photo...and they don't lag my connection doing so. Would really love to rely on this as a backup from my phone but it's so unreliable and slow that it's all but useless. Had the same issues on my Galaxy S4, then upgraded to the 7 and still have the same issues (plus the first month I had the 7 smugmug couldn't handle photos from it at all.)
Nothing like it!
Fine Viewer, But That's About It Given I don't use my phone for photos apart from as a last resort, I intended to use this app to organise my SmugMug photos in spare moments when not at a PC. Unfortunately this is not possible. You cannot even edit keywords, captions or titles, let alone organise galleries. As a viewer, it is fine; however, it falls a long way short of what it could be, and what rival's apps do (eg Flickr). Edited to add : another star added as it is now possible to amend at least titles and captions, but not the rest.
Still lacks gallery management such as, move/copy photos to other galleries, sorting options. Upload is a very very flaky and stops for absolutely no reason. Very frustrating and considering using a different photo provider just for this reason
•Seeing double? Not anymore. We now save you from accidentally uploading duplicate images to the same gallery.
•Even when your network is unreliable, we don’t want to be, so we improved the consistency of your uploads in different and varying network situations.
•Our app practiced it’s hide and go seek skills and is way better at tracking SD cards when they occasionally hid from the app.
