Used both versions. This COLOR FLASHLIGHT meets my needs, was the one I had before revised edition. I'm done comparing & have decided to keep the smaller app & uninstall the newer version. Both are very good. For me; the simpler, the better. Thank for creating the flashlights & making them available for free. Sorry. Guess I wrote my comment in the wrong area. No time for a "do over"
Update Drains My Battery For about a month I've been struggling with battery drain. After uninstalling all the "new" apps I'd downloaded in the last month and trying a re-boot and everything, I finally factory reset my phone. This was the ONLY app I downloaded after the factory reset. That's how I figure out this was the app draining my battery. I turned on the flashlight to use the restroom in the middle of the night. 2 minutes later I was back in bed and had lost 4% of my battery. Looking at the last update to this app, it's been about a month! Problem solved. This used to be a great app, I used it all the time. I've uninstalled it now. Sorry guys.
Ads for a flashlight app? GTFO I downloaded about 10 or so flashlight apps below 500kb tonight just for kicks (and testing). All with only one permission: camera. Somehow this one escapes my attention. And lo! Flashlight app with ads/self-promotion, and with network permission, yuck. Two stars instead of one because the size is efficient. But no 5 stars like I'm giving the rest, boo hoo.
Little frustrated Need to use asap, and it's not loading fast enough! Keeps trying to bring up the stupid ads first, especially when you're not near WiFi! If it's using up my data amount, then I'm definitely going to be deleting the app. Will ask Verizon about this "issue" with other apps also.
This app says that is uses 205-KB of space yet it shows that it it used over 800-KB I suspect that its spy ware as are the top 10 flashight on the market according to the news report that I just watched. UGH!
Not even useable It used to work well on all of my old phones from 2012 to now. Ever since I got marshmallow update it won't work. Now my phone has a built in flashlight, so I'm using that. The only thing beside that which I liked in this app was using the screen light because I could dim it for middle of the night and early morning use. But, I'm gonna say goodbye now.
