These services include illnesses or injuries which require prompt attention but are typically not of such severity as to require the services of an emergency room.

SocratesMD offers 2 pricing options – a monthly subscription plan and a pay-per-use plan. Both pricing plans allow full access to our features and services and are intended to accommodate your individual needs.

Both plans require the creation of an account on our portal, and you can switch between plans, as your needs change.

SocratesMD does not treat the following conditions and recommend your family member visit a hospital if they experience issues like:

• Injuries requiring immediate medical attention
• Broken bones
• Fainting episodes
• Chest pain with shortness of breath
• Anaphylactic / allergic reactions
• Chronic pain management requiring all controlled substances *
• Our doctors cannot write prescriptions for controlled substances. Please visit an in-person doctor if you require medication classified as a controlled substance like codeine or oxycodone.

You should not use SocratesMD if your loved one is experiencing a medical emergency.
