About this app

The Virginia Credit Union Mobile Banking App for Android™ gives you 24/7 access to your VACU accounts. You can check balances, transfer money, locate branches and ATMs, deposit checks and more.

To use this app you need to be enrolled in VACU Online Banking. Once you download the app use your Online Banking User ID and password to log in.

The CU is good. The app needs work. I frequently get locked out when I know that I'm entering the right password. Biometric logins are spotty. More than once, it's hung up several times on subsequent login attempts — only to count them as unsuccessful logins, forcing me to call customer service and reset my password. Sometimes I can log in successfully, but can't access my balances or ledger. It also has a tendency to forget and/or reset my preferences. Overall, just very inconvenient.

App is horrible!!! WHEN it works is ok, but that is hardly ever. The only thing it is ok for ia checking balance. Once again am having issues. It won't allow me to do a mobile deposit. Even uninstalled/reinstalled and it STILL wouldn't allow me. Took a MONTH last time to fix it. That is just rediculous!! Get another developer and design an app that works consistently!

I've been using it for a while and it's good most of the time. The main issue that I have is that when I transfer money between accounts, it doesn't update when I refresh it (it used to). I usually have to log out and then back in. But, it's handy, and I like being able to switch my card on and off when i lose it. The only other thing I would like is if the checkbook feature could be added. Otherwise, pretty solid app.
