Short Circuits Calculator

This application (fault currents and voltages calculator) can be used for the following calculations:
- three-phase fault current (IEC 60909);
- two-phase without earth connection fault current (IEC 60909);
- two-phase with earth connection fault current (IEC 60909);
- phase to earth connection current (IEC 60909);
- total fault current (IEC 60909);
- positive sequence fault current (IEC 60909);
- negative sequence fault current (IEC 60909);
- zero sequence fault current (IEC 60909);
- three-phase fault voltage;
- two-phase without earth connection fault voltage;
- two-phase with earth connection fault voltage;
- phase to earth connection voltage;
- total fault voltage;
- positive sequence fault voltage;
- negative sequence fault voltage;
- zero sequence fault voltage.

Notes to calculations:
- for meshed and non-meshed grids;
- wait a few seconds after the application is loaded;
- click on the white field to add an element;
- click on the item to view properties;
- change the item nominal voltage to select from the database;
- C-factor and K-factor are used in calculations;
- the capacitance is taken into account in all calculation modes (if available);
- the generator tap is used in maximum current and voltage calculations;
- the generator tap is not used in minimum current and voltage calculations;
- items properties are calculated based on nominal voltages and reduced to the grid nominal voltage;
- to avoid calculation errors, nominal voltage of items must correspond to the grid nominal voltage;
- grid nominal voltage is calculated based on nominal voltages of generator, feeder, power station and transformer.
