Not working It just will not start.... SPB is losing it. All their apps are not what they wance where.... Shity software indeed. .
Sticks on Android Loved it on Windows. Hate it on Android. Since moving this app from a Windows based phone to Android, I have had nothing but problems. Alarms "lock up" and then no other alarm will work. Constantly have to reboot my phoned to clear the issue.
slows... everything... else... down... Another Android disappointment from the company that knocked my socks off in WM. Noticeable lag on my Galaxy S after installing. And no updates in a long time. Looks good and works (mostly), but has an offensive footprint on your machine. I miss the quality perception I had of SPB on Windows Mobile. Please do better than sloppy ports of your software.
I've been a fan of SPB for years, had this program on WinMo and loved it. Bought it here and it looks the same and works the same . . . except for thing, My infuse 4g runs a bit laggy after install. Games become jerky, Launchers no longer scroll smoothly. It eats up lots of RAM and battery. Tried a re-install and the same thing happened. Will re-install after some time hoping for a fix. Meanwhile back to Samsung clock for alarm.
Great, but... Works on ICS, not JB, though. :-( This was a 'go to' app in my WinMo (Windows Mobile) days. It appears to be a nearly direct port from that version. I wanted this to have an app for count down timers, and this has them. You can have several, in fact. (the multiple timer display is in options.) I like to set timers to common intervals - two, five, ten, fifteen, thirty minutes, for example. That way, I can start a timer for a task and then focus on the task without worrying about spending too much time on it. No more, "where did the time go?" moments! I also wanted a clock with a seconds display. It's great for setting clocks IRL - microwave, wall clocks, etc. Perhaps I'm a little OCD. ;-) The alarm features in the WinMo days were great. One cool feature of the alarm is the paranoid alarm style - you have to solve an easy, medium, or hard puzzle to disarm the alarm. Essentially it's an anti-snooze deterrent. Note: I haven't thoroughly tested on Android as the built-in alarms are reliable enough. Great product. I just wish the developer was more responsive and the compatibility was broader. HTC Thunderbolt (ICS), Galaxy S3 (JB)
Great app, but... This app is great! I use it every morning to get up to school to. I would have rated it five stars if there wasn't areas that could use improvement. My main problem is that the bio alarm doesn't quite work... when ever the "calming" sounds start playing it cranks the volume on my phone up to the max. Instead of gradually getting woken up, I get jolted awake after the first thirty seconds by loudly chirping birds... please make it so you can turn off the autoascend on the bio alarm. Thanks!
