Does exactly what it says on the tin Simple and functional does exactly what it says. Reading the reviews I also remember why I hate distributing software I have written for free. People who think they have some right to demand your time and attention to make alterations so it suits their own requirements better.
Finally what I'm looking for. I've gone through a frustrating number of flashlight apps trying to find one that's just that - a light to help see better. And this does that more easily and minimalistically than all the other stuff out there, what with their fancy buttons and ten modes of functionality. The two things I need are right there in a single screen - a refreshingly basic screen light button and LED light button. And also some stuff I don't really need, as in SOS flash and color changes. But that's ok, it all fits conveniently.
Doesn't work on Moto G with Kitkat This one looked promising. Unfortunately, the LED option doesn't work on my Moto G running KitKat. Other than that, I loved the simplicity and thanks to the dev for offering this for free, with no Ads or extraneous permission requirements.
Simple, straightforward and no ads! Perfect. It's a flashlight. It works and is easy to use. No ads and no special persmissions makes it a winner for me! Unfortunately, it doesn't work with my HTC One (M8) as it does my other devices.
Finally, a flashlight app that does only what it needs to. I didn't want anything fancy, I wanted a flashlight. The regular flashlights I own have just one button and that's it, so that's all I was looking for. I certainly didn't want to give my flashlight internet access! This has one big button for the screen, one big button for the led, and one small button to flash an SOS code, which I might need some day. The options menu let's you set which lights are on by default when the program opens. That's it, no fancy colors or other totally unnecessary extra features.
Works no BS This flashlight app is the only one i could find that doesn't require extremly dubious permissions like phone identity, GPS, and network. I own a lot of flashlights and I can tell you not one of them needs a GPS to work. Anyway, Great app. only suggestion would be to make a widget to toggle the flashlight so i don't even have to enter an app.
- Added left sliding menu for settings
- Able to change screen color by swiping on Screen On/Off button
- Able to control whether to ON LED/Screen when start app
- Able to manual control brightness
