About this app
The Solaflex app was developed specifically for measuring areas. It has never been so easy to create a digital measurement. The app is compatible with the RX5 digital roll meter and LX40 laser rangefinder developed by Solaflex. This combination allows measured values to be transferred directly from the measuring device to the app at the push of a button and visualized at the same time. The drawings and tables created can be easily exported as DXF, PDF or CSV files for further production. With Solaflex's measurement system, drawings and tables are immediately digitized.

Save yourself the work of laboriously transferring your hand sketches into CAD software - with Solaflex, drawings created can be imported directly into CAD programs with just a few clicks.
BOM explosion
With this premium feature, the created contour is displayed in detail. Parts to be processed can be displayed individually and easily transferred to the raw material. The parts list can also be exported and sent as a PDF file.
Table export and templates
Tables created can be saved as a template and accessed again. In addition, the tables can be exported as a CSV file, directly from the app or on MySolaflex.

Drawing mode
To create drawings, there are basically two different modes to choose from: freeform and coordinate mode. The freeform mode is suitable for rectangular contours or rough measurements of surfaces, such as floor plans.
Measuring in coordinate mode leads to the most accurate measurement results. In this mode, all contour points are determined by two coordinates, X and Y. Using this method, even complex surfaces can be easily measured. Further information can be found at www.solaflex.com.
Table mode
In this mode, tables can be individually created, configured and filled with measured values and texts. In addition, any calculation operations can be carried out with computer columns, for example to directly take deductions or additions into account. In addition, you can create your own drop-down menus and select from them. In addition, the table rows can be numbered as desired.
Insert excerpts
It is not uncommon for walls, floors or ceilings to contain installations such as sockets, pipes or similar. In the app you can insert a wide variety of sections and configure them according to your wishes.
Freeze contour
To ensure smooth installation of the measured object, the “Freeze contour” function can be selected. The necessary installation clearance or projections can then be taken into account from the drawing created.
Move crosshairs
This function allows the crosshairs to be moved to inaccessible areas. You can then continue measuring from the new position.
Show perimeter and area
With Solaflex, the extent and area of drawings are visible at all times, which helps with material orders and cost calculations.
Generate PDF
Drawings can also be exported and sent as PDF.
Project and drawing management
Drawings and tables can be bundled in project folders.
Photos and notes
Photos or notes can be attached. The attached data is automatically inserted into the PDF.
Manual measurement entry
No measuring device ready? Dimensions can also be entered manually using a keyboard or virtual tape measure.
