The app works perfectly with the Solis Lite. It is a seamless experience and simple to use the app with the device, even for those not terribly tech savvy. We purchased this for an overseas cruise and we're not expecting it to work in many places that it did. The convenience of being able to connect up to 10 devices at once was wonderful and the device itself is extremely portable. We definitely recommend Solis for a more affordable, convenient connection option during international trips.

After a year of use: Slow, unreliable. Connection drops constantly, my phone data plan is faster (even though they use the same networks). If you're out of cell range it says you aren't authenticated, not that it doesn't have service. App works occasionally, most of the time it doesn't connect with the device. Device can't survive short falls without busting into pieces. I haven't been successful at using it as a power source.

The android app is utterly useless, crashes immediately after connecting to the unit, more than a little annoying. The web portal doesn't split properly so it's very difficult to work with it but I did manage to buy additional GBs after a little trial & error. The unit itself is working properly (outside of Freeport, Bahamas) but the software side needs to be fixed immediately
