so far I love it I'm HTML, CSS, JS & Flash savvy but rusty on my JS as far hand-coding goes. anyways, wanted to get back into coding at my own pace and Java for app busing and more. this is perfect and has an text editor/IDE. comments section helps so much. it's like a class but free and better.
Learning HTML SolLearn works well and is simple to use. Amazing for on the go. Here's a tip: Make sure you read the text in the chapters/moduels as they have the anwsers for the test and quizes. The comment section is helpful and provides insight. For a text editor I personally recommand Note Pad ++ for PC usage. Much more refined then windows basic Note Pad.
One problem The courses keep rushing without explaining ... i prefer knowing all the points about a single code and then learning for another one.
Ian Great app. Keep up the good work Solo learn. You do make available programming to everyone with your delightful apps. Thank you!
Really good for beginners Literally the first thing I've ever used in terms of learning code and its been pretty straight forward so far.
Great learning app Onto my second language now. Gives the basics enough get you going and build something of your own! The whole experience of it is also enjoyable and efficient. Love the integrated IDE (code playground), so I can play around with the codes on my phone on my way to answer from work. Love it!
