STI notice is a public health tool, not a way to bother anyone. A person cannot receive more than one notification in a 30-day period, and accounts can be blocked if notifications are reported as false. Only send an STI alert when there has been a real exposure risk.

Your first notification is usually free. If you need to notify more contacts, extra credits are available in the app. STI notice does not diagnose or treat anything and does not replace a doctor. If you have symptoms or a positive test, see a healthcare professional or a sexual health clinic.
