SonderMind provides mental health care, personalized for you. Available for all ages and most mental health needs. Choose to use your insurance for therapy or psychiatry in states where SonderMind is available, and meet online or in person within a week.

Therapy is available in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Psychiatry is currently available in Colorado, Georgia, and Ohio.

This version of the app only works for existing SonderMind clients who have a registered email and password.

Log in to SonderMind.com to share your preferences for care, and we’ll match you with one of our licensed providers in your state. Then, you can use the app to connect with your therapist, attend video sessions, track your progress, and more.

We follow national standards for security and privacy for all clients and clinicians. SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions are never recorded. Your personal data, medical information, and private communications are all hosted on HIPAA-compliant, SSL-encrypted servers.

Ratings and reviews

App worked until session's end neared, then began failing to load the chatroom. After closing, showed an error on launch and wouldn't open. Tried force stop, hard closing, then clearing cache; No fix other than waiting it out. Additionally, keeps asking for biometrics and notification access every launch; Even after confirming. Biometrics fail, still have to log in manually, and the app doesn’t remember my settings. A pin to login instead would be nice after biometrics.

I've seen a therapist with sondermind for the past six months. My biggest frustration and reason why I'm cancelling and won't use them again is customer support. There's no phone number on their website but there is one that pops up on Google. They've only answered twice in the 20+ times I've called. I leave a message and never has anyone gotten back to me. If you have a billing issue, good luck: you've just been robbed.

It has a range of therapists, but their key words and filters did not really help me find someone with experience in my area. It feels like trial and error in finding a good therapist. Another issue is billing when they misbill to the wrong part of insurance, they will not put hold on your upcoming payment, they will not respond to any contact requests, and their customer service phone never picks up, only voicemail without response. Highly would not recommend until these are fixed.
