Unbelievably impressed I was so impressed on how easy it was to set up. Expecially no wires was great. Plus how it connected itself to my TV remote by itself was amazing. I am definitely going to buy more speakers for my living room because football season is right around the corner. I did buy the sound bar and sub. The sound quality is so crisp. I definitely recommend buying this product. Like I said 1 of the best things was no wires especially when you put speakers on the wall in the corner you don't have to see wires hanging.
(6.3) Great app - but still not for grandma (updated July '16) Getting great. 4.0 and previous releases have some great improvements. It tracks navigation trail much better now. Search is good, the favorites feature was a great step forward in usability for non-techies, a first step in a direction (ratings, etc) that is basically unsupported by Sonos, likes and favorites...
Horribly annoying interface Take note from Google play it iTunes. I like the ability to create a set list but I do not want to have to do it everytime I listen to music. When I select an album automatically play the next songs in the album. Also it's very annoying having to select a song then select play now. Too many steps takes away from experience.
Don't be in a hurry to modify volume There really needs to be a quicker way to turn music down or up from the app. Fine if you have the box, but from your phone or iPad its a pain. ...particularly if you also have s password protect on your device. By the time you unlock device, highlight the app and them modify the volume. ....you've missed a great chunk of the song.
Sonos Freaking hate it. Won't connect blue tooth, won't allow you to push anything other than music so you can't listen to a movie through it. Can't move it without having to reset the system. Save your money and buy a Bose... Anyone want to buy a play 3?
Bit of a pain Having to use the app every time is a pain. Not sure why the sonos can't connect and play the last thing you had on without connecting to the app. Also it doesn't play playlists on bbc or iplayer, and I can't play from language apps on Amazon. Very limited functionality, if I'm going to have to go into the app every time then i may as well use a bluetooth speaker. What price is Sonos prepared to pay to own it's bit of the market?
